Vizio Tablet Now Available, Costs Just $299

After being unveiled at this year’s CES, the Vizio Tablet is now available for your enjoyment. This new Android-based tablet aims to control your home theater experience with the help of Vizio’s V. I. A. (Video Internet Apps) Plus ecosystem. This means that Vizio’s HDTV and tablets will share the same interface and apps, thus maintaining a consistent user experience and ease of use.

The 8-inch Vizio tablet features 2GB of internal storage, microSD card support, HDMI out, a battery life of up to 10 hours, WiFi, and Bluetooth connectivity. While the specs are not that impressive, perhaps its suggested retail price of just $299 would grab your attention.

The Vizio tablet is now available at WalMart, Sam’s Club, Costco, and Amazon, as well as in other authorized retailers.
